REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Anti-terror police squad Densus-88's personnel arrested here on Saturday terrorist suspect Robi (38) who was believed to have facilitated the departure of Indonesians who are ISIS sympathizers to Syria.
"Terror suspect Robi was arrested at 11.25 a.m at Hotel Santika, Petemburan, West Jakarta, on Saturday," National Police Spokesman Sr Comr Rikwanto told Antara through an SMS message Saturday night.
Robi was suspected to have facilitated Indonesian citizens who departed to Syria to join radical Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
"He has facilitated Indonesian citizens who wanted to depart to Syria to join the ISIS," he said.
When arresting Robi, the anti-terror police squad Densus-88 personnel confiscated several pieces of evidence in the form of documents such as a driving license, an identity card and a vehicle registration number certificate.
There are also a receipt on the transfer of money amounting to Rp2 million and Bank Mandiri as well as Bank BCE ATM cards.
