REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) ensured there will be no double post for its cadres, Puan Maharani and Tjahjo Kumolo in the cabinet and parliament. Secretary General of the PDIP, Hasto Kristyanto said administration system in PDIP also does not allow double post.

However, PDIP is still constrained by the replacement of both. He said, PDIP had already been preparing two names to replace both position as Member of Parliament. However, their successor got a special assignment elsewhere.

So, Hasto said, PDIP will prepare more people to immediately fill the position as members of Parliament and perform a recall (PAW) of Puan Maharani and Tjahjo Kumolo which incoming cabinet.

"Their successors are under the majority voting, so we prepare that they will really perform the functions of the legislative, budgetary and oversight," said Hasto in Jakarta, on Tuesday, May 20.

Currently, Puan Maharani and Tjahjo Kumolo is not yet in-PAW from the membership of Parliament. Both are included in the Working Cabinet formed by President Joko Widodo. Puan Maharani served as Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture. Meanwhile, Tjahjo Kumolo served as Minister of Home Affairs.

PDIP argued, cannot do PAW for both of them, because it is constrained on a replacement. Previously, PDIP has prepared other cadres to fill the position of members of Parliament to replace Tjahjo and Puan. However, proposed figures to replace them got another tasks from the party.

"Because previously it had been prepared but they were assigned elsewhere," said Hasto.
