REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo has done six monthly evaluation on his ministers. Chief of Presidential Staff Luhut Binsar Panjaitan said, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing absorb the highest budget.

"If we look from the budget absorption, currently Public Works  (PU) Ministry is the greatest," he said at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 23.

Transportation Ministry also recorded a high budget absorption. However, he declined to reveal the ministry which has poor performance. Luhut was also reluctant to reveal whether the evaluation will culminate in a cabinet reshuffle.

Previously, Jokowi asked each ministry to report the program that has worked over the last six months and the work projections in the next six months. The homework which specifically requested by the President, was conveyed by ministers through a written reports.

"I was always evaluated, either through the reports, or I was also check it on the field, to see the progress of what I've ordered," he said.

Jokowi said, evaluation was a common thing he did in the works. Moreover, Jokowi also admitted there were some sectors already in a red light position.
