Hotman Paris becomes lawyer of suspect of Engeline’s murder case

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Lawyer of suspect Agustinus Tai Hamdamai, Haposan Sihombing finally asked for help to the famous lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea. He was doing it to help dealing with murder case of Engeline Margriet Megawe which was linking his client as a temporary single suspect.

 

"Yes, on Monday night, June 22, yesterday I finally met Hotman in one of the malls in Kelapa Gading area," said Haposan to ROL, on Wednesday, June 24.

In a meeting with Hotman, he has a positive goal to help the legal process of Engeline, particularly, a legal representation for Agus. According to him, in his meeting with Hotman, he explained, in order to help to encourage the disclosure of Engeline’s murder.

Related to that, Haposan explained during a meeting with Hotman he filed cooperation to help the process of the case. "I ended up talking to Hotman Paris’s legal office to cooperate with Haposan Sihombing’s legal office," he said.

It is known, until now Bali Regional Police have not set any suspect other than Agus in the murder case. However, the foster mother’s victim, Christina Margriet Megawe was believed to be the entrance to the other suspects in the case.

Moreover, Bali Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Ronny F Sompie stated there will be new suspects in addition to Agus in the case. However until now it has yet to announce who other suspects because it was still waiting for some test results.
