Muhammadiyah won't be Intervene

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The election of Muhammadiyah chairman won’t be intervene by outsider or political parties. Muhammadiyah has a different system than other organizations, official Pemuda Muhammadiyah said on Sunday (2/8).  

“We have a system which make difficult to intervene,” Head of  Pemuda Muhammadiyah Dahnil Anzar said.

He added, the process through some steps and gradually. Their nomination are selective. All candidates already picked have a capability as a scholar and preacher. But he hope, the new leader can develop more Muhammadiyah potency.    

Among the strong candidates are Abdullah Mufti, Yunahar Ilyas, Busyro Muqaddas and Anwar Abbas.  He assume Mufti ia a young scholar who can make new breakthroughs.
