REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government has sold a series of state bonds and earned Rp15 trillion to be used to help pluck up a deficit in the state budget.
Originally the government planned to raise only Rp10 trillion from the bond sales, which were oversubscribed with demand totaling Rp28 trillion, the directorate of financing and risk management said.
The bonds in four series carry yield rates from 6.19 percent to 9.1 percent a year with maturities from Nov. 2015 to May, 2031, the directorate general said here in a statement on Wednesday.
