REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Pre-trial hearing of Otto Cornelis (OC) Kaligis will be held today, Monday (10/8). The agenda of the hearing is to listen to the arguments of the lawsuit filed by Kaligis about his status as a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commision (KPK).
"Today the pre-trial session will start at 09.00 am," said Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Made Sutrisna, Monday (10/8).
The trial that will be held at the South Jakarta District Court will be led by a single judge, Suprapto. As the applicant, Kaligis would read the complaint materials related to the determination of himself as a suspect, in a case of bribery of judges of the State Administrative Court in Medan, North Sumatera.
KPK was officially named OC Kaligis as a suspect on 14th July 2015. The former of Chairman of Nasdem court party then forced to stay in Prodeo Hotel.
In 9th July 2015, KPK firstly arrested Kaligis’ employee M Yagari Bhastara a.k.a Gerry, the Chairman of the Administrative Court of Medan Tripeni Irianto Putro, two administrative court judges Putra Amir Fauzi and Dermawan Ginting and the Secretary of the Administrative Court of Medan Syamsir Yusfan.
