REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A member of Commission V of the House of Representative, Miriam S Haryani, asked the Ministry of Transportation to immediately audit the entire commercial and cargo aircraft. The audit is needed to prevent the plane accident that often occurred.
"All commercial and cargo aircraft must be audited. Especially the aircraft that has route from an island to another island," said Miriam, Tuesday (18/8).
The aircraft that must be audited either public or private aircraft. She stated that most accident that occurred were because of poor and old aircraft that need to be repaired.
“The government has not to always blamed the bad weather,” she added.
She continued, that since the victims are human beings, then the government should not give permission to an airline without any binding requirements.
