REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAYAPURA –- DVI team of Papua team had identified three victims of Trigana Air aircraft that crashed in Oksob, Bintang Mountains, Sunday (16/8).

Head of medical and health of Papua Police, Dr. Ramond said the three bodies that were identified, were Jakson Wayak (24 years old) from Kabiding, Bintang Mountains; Hosea Uropdana (50 years old) from Yahim Sentani; and Elipas Uropmabin (22 years old) from Alemson District, Bintang Mountains.

There were currently 27 of 54 passengers and crew that has been identified by the DVI team. After the identification, then the victims will be given to the families.

“The identification of other 27 bodies, still wait for the result of DNA test conducted in Jakarta,” he said, Thursday (27/8).
