REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice President Jusuf Kalla visited South Korea to attend the International Seminar on peace. After arrived in Seoul, the Vice President was immediately met with investors from South Korea.
The meeting was conducted to attract the investors to come and invest in Indonesia. At that time, Kalla met investors from steel, pharmaceuticals, and energy companies. Attracting investors to invest in Indonesia can help overcome the Indonesia economic slowdown.
"Especially in the huge investment, among others, steel, pharmaceuticals, and energy," Kalla said, in Seoul, as reported on the official website wapresri.go.id, Thursday (27/8).
JK said the meeting also made to improve the business and investment relations between the two countries. During a visit to South Korea, Kalla and his wife, Mufidah Jusuf Kalla was accompanied by Head of BKPM, Franky Sibarani and Chief of BNP2TKI, Nusron Wahid.
