REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Otto Cornelis (OC) Kaligis claimed to be ready to undergo hearing of the charges on Monday (31/8) in a case of alleged bribery to the judges and the clerks of the State Administrative Court of Medan, North Sumatra.
"It was outrageous that the media said I was prevented the trial," said Kaligis when arrived at the corruption court, Monday (31/8).
Kaligis trial has been postponed twice, first on 20th August 2015, he refused to attend the trial due to illness. The trial continued on 27th August 2015, but it was also postponed because Kaligis want to check his condition his family doctor, dr Terawan and he had not appointed legal counsel.
"Yesterday, I almost dead, the blood pressure was 212/100,” he added. However, Kaligis declined to give comments on his charges.
On Friday (28/8), Kaligis had undergone brain operation. The operation was carried out by dr Terawan of Gatot Subroto Army Hospital.
