REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A senior lawyer, Adnan Buyung Nasution, passed away, Wednesday (23/9) at 10.17 pm in Pondok Indah Hospital (RSPI), Jakarta. His second son, Mauly Nasution, said his father passed away due to kidney disease.

Mauly at Adnan's home, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, explained that his father had had heart disease. However, the doctor diagnose stated that the cause of his death was kidney disease.

Kidney disease suffered by Adnan was a very serious disease that spreads to the heart. According Mauly, his father had been doing routine kidney treatment since December 2014. He had to do dialysis three times a week.

Mauly said, Adnan was brought to Pondok Indah Hospital since last Saturday. His condition had improved yesterday afternoon and medical devices had been removed. However, Adnan was back to critical condition last night.
