REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Four teams has entered semifinals in President's Cup tournament. The teams were Mitra Kukar, Persib Bandung, Sriwijaya FC, and Arema Cronus.
On the way to the semifinals of President's Cup, the four teams admitted that they did not easily play each game in the group phase and in the quarter-finals. In fact, some controversy also happened, especially in the second leg of the quarter-finals, yesterday.
This happened when Mitra Kukar won over PSM Makassar, despite the score of two match in quarter final was 2-2. However, Mitra Kukar qualified for the semifinals because of their aggressiveness goals.
Persib Bandung also came to the semifinals after ousting Pusamania Borneo FC (PBFC). The score of both teams were 4-4, but Persib Bandung have better goals when played a match at the headquarters of PBFC in Segiri, Samarinda.
After that, Sriwijaya FC followed the previous two teams after successfully won over Persebaya. Arema Cronus also ensured their step to semifinals after their winning over Bali United with score 5-3.
President's Cup semifinals was scheduled on 3rd October 2015. The drawing will be held in Century Park Hotel, Tuesday (29/9).
