REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) gathered economic ministers in a limited cabinet meeting at the Presidential Office, Thursday (1/10). The meeting was held to discuss preparation of launch of third phase of economic policy package.
In the opening of the meeting, Jokowi talked about fuel oil. President hoped, the price of fuel oil Premium type can be lowered.
"Is it still possible that premium can lowered even if only a little?" he said.
In addition, the President also instructed the Government to continue providing short and long-term incentives to businesses sector in order to stimulate economic growth. President wanted the interest on bank loans can be derived.
Jokowi also requested that the Government can support labor-intensive industries, so that it can use workers in large numbers.
