REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Commission XI of the House of Representatives approved the budget ceiling at Rp30.9 trillion for the Finance Ministry in 2016.
"Commission XI approves the proposed budget ceiling for the finance ministry in 2016," deputy chairman of the commission Muhammad Prakosa said when chairing the meeting here on Tuesday.
The budget includes Rp14.6 trillion for the secretariat general, Rp115 billion for the inspectorate general, Rp154 billion for the budget directorate general, Rp8.7 trillion for the taxation directorate general and Rp3.7 trillion for the customs and excise directorate general, Rp144.3 billion for the financial balance directorate general, etc.
Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro said all working plans of the ministry are in line with the President's Nawacita (nine point) program and mid term development plan of 2015-2019.
Among the working plans are improvement of the state finance management,increase in tax revenues and control of customs and excise revenues and regional budget management.
There will be new recruitment of employees and additional offices and the use of e-invoice nationally, the minister said.
The secretary general is given the largest allocation of the budget fund as it is in charge of paying salaries and allowance for all employees of the ministry.
