REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MUARA TEWEH -- Haze from land and forest fires that occurred in North Barito, Central Kalimantan, was thicker. On Friday (16/10) morning, visibility in Muara Teweh, North Barito was only 30 meters due to the haze.
"The haze is getting thicker, the visibility is limited and it makes shortness of breath," said Dadang, a resident of Muara Teweh, Friday (16/10).
Head of Technical Workers of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysic Agency (BMKG) of Muara Teweh, Sunardi, said that surface visibility on Friday morning was around 30 meters, while the vertical visibility was 90 feet
"The haze is getting worse than yesterday because the wind was in a low speed," he added.
