REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Muhammadiyah stated that President Joko Widodo not yet have strategic steps in solving problems of nation in one year of his reign. It was including problems in religious affairs.
Chairman of Muhammadiyah, Haedar Nasir, said in religious and social problems, the handling was still partial. It could be seen from the problems of establishment of Santri Day and Government's way in addressing the case of Tolikara and Aceh Singkil.
"It was just touch the surface, while strategic things were still less consideration and attention," said Haedar Nasir to Republika.co.id, Tuesday (20/10).
He explained that the government must have visions and comprehensive road map in determining policies, including policies in religious affairs.
In addition, the President also needed to control performance of his ministers in order to carry out its role objectively. The President should not let his ministers were busy taking care of technical matters without a clear road map.
"Clean the ministries and other government agencies from corruption, collusion and nepotism," he added.
