REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PARIS -- Indonesia leaves four representatives in quarter-finals of French Open Super Series 2015. Except in men's singles, each category of Indonesia sent a representative.
The first representative who entered quarter finals was duo Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, who beat a young couple from Japan, Kenta Kazuno/Kazushi Yamada in two straight games, 21-11 and 21-16.
The second representative was mixed doubles Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto who were surprisingly beat mixed doubles from Denmark, Joachim Fiescher Nielsen/Christina Pedersen with score 16-21, 21-17 and 21-17.
Indonesian women's doubles, Greysia Polii/Nitya Maheswari Krishinda, managed to avenge their defeat in Denmark Open Super Series Premier 2015 a few weeks ago, by beating South Korean couple, Chang Ye Na/Lee So Hee with score 9-21, 21-18 and 21-19.
Last representative was Maria Febe Kusumastuti in women's singles. In the second half, Febe beat Malaysian player, Tee Jing Yi with score 17-21, 21-8 and 21-14. Unfortunately, this victory was not followed by other Indonesian representatives in men's doubles, Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi who was defeated by Denmark players, Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen with score 19-21 and 17-21.
