REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANAMA -- The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) today held its regular monthly meeting under the chairmanship of Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in the presence Health Minister Dr. Faeqa bint Saeed Al-Saleh.
The meeting discussed projects aimed to develop the work of the National Authority for the Regulation of Medical Professions and Health Services.
SCH Chairman emphasized intensifying cooperation with the Ministry of Health and to exert further effort that contributes to uplifting the health services.
The meeting reviewed the legal frameworks for medicine registration resolution and the formation of examinations, disciplinary and advisory committees. It also reviewed the action taken in respect of the report issued by the National Audit Office.
SCH Chairman was briefed on the report on the inspection visits to hospitals. He talked about the national health strategy and executive initiatives, calling for establishing coordination among health parties to achieve the desired goals in the interest of the citizens and residents.
He expressed appreciation of the interest and support of the leadership provided for the health sector.
