REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Operator of Sudirman Cup prepared Rp 2.5 billion as prize for a club who wins in the tournament. Meanwhile, winner of the group stage also would receive prize of Rp 125 million.

It was said by CEO of PT Mahaka Sport, Hasani Abdulgani. He revealed that the compensations were Rp 125 million for the winner in the group stage and Rp 75 million for the lost.

"We convey this transparency and will pay it on time," he said, in Jakarta, Friday (6/11).

Hasani added, there will be no draw match because extension of time and penalties were imposed. There also would be payment rules in the penalties.

The winner, he said, would receive compensation of Rp 110 million. Then, the lost would received Rp 90 million.

While, the main prize for the first and second winner were Rp 2.5 billion and Rp 1.5 billion. The third and fourth winner would be rewarded Rp 500 million each.

Hasani explained that the operator was only responsible for providing compensation to the match and prizes to the club, and not providing anything to the players.
