REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Jakarta anti corruption court on Thursday meted out jail terms of one year and four months each for nine employees of the state power utility company (PLN).
The nine men were found guilty of corruption in the construction of 21 electricity relay stations in Java, Bali and East Nusa Tenggara.
The nine convicts were also ordered to pay a fine of Rp50 million each or serving additional jail term of one month, Waluyo, chief spokesman of the Jakarta high prosecution office said.
The nine convicts included three managers - Fauzan Yunus, Syaiful Arief, and I Nyoman Sardjana.
The other six are Totot Fregantanto, Yushan, Ahmad Yendra Satriana, Yuyus Rusyadi Sastra, Endy Purwanto and Arief Susilo Hadi.
