President pays visit to West Java

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana paid a visit to Majalengka and Cirebon Districts in West Java Province on Thursday.

They departed from Gambir Railway Station, Central Jakarta, by a special train at 4 a.m. local time.

In Majalengka, the head of state is slated to inspect a construction project of Kertajati airport and meet will leaders of Al Mizan Islamic Boarding School.

In Cirebon, he will visit a shell house, a rattan handicraft factory in Tegal Wangi village and Trusmi Batik market.

Jokowi is also scheduled to launch a Family Planning Kampong in Gunung Jati Sub-district and meet with leaders of Buntet Islamic Boarding School.
