Jokowi arrives in Yogyakarta

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA -- The delegation of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has landed at Adisucipto airport, Yogyakarta to continue the trip to Magelang, Central Java. The delegation will discuss about the development of Borobudur temple.

During the visit, President Jokowi was accompanied by several ministers. Among them were Minister of Tourism Arief yahya, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Yuddy Chrisnandi, Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Interior Minister Tjahjo Kumolo, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Agung, Secretary Pratikno State and Chief of Staff of the Presidential Teten Masduki.

According to the agenda from Bureau Press of the Presidential Palace, Jokowi will observe Borobudur temple. After that, the delegation will held a closed meeting about the development of tourist destinations of Borobudur.

In that meeting, Jokowi and several ministers will discuss the establishment of management agency at Borobudur tourism area. In addition, President was also planned to open the National Conference of Indonesian Rectors Forum 2016 at the State University of Yogyakarta.

Indonesia Government was working to develop ten tourism areas in this country, started from Borobudur temple, Tanjung Kelayang, Tanjung Lesung, Thousand Islands, Bromo, Mandalika, Komodi Island, Wakatobi, and Morotai.
