REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CILACAP -- The Cilacap district government in Central Java in 2016 will focus on improving tourism in Teluk Penyu Beach and Fort Pendem, according to local Culture and Tourism Office Chief Murniyah.
"We will set up several cafeterias along the beach and make it more beautiful," she remarked here on Thursday.
According to Murniyah, the cafeterias will also be set up in front of Fort Pendem.
In addition, she noted that the local Culture and Tourism Office will also restore the swimming pool, which had been abandoned in the Public Amusement Park (THR) at the Teluk Penyu beach.
"We will also build a smart building that will showcase various tools of science and technology," Murniyah affirmed, adding that the Cilacap district government had actually received props of science and technology donated by the Ministry of Research and Technology's Demonstration Center for Science and Technology as there was no place to house them.
Therefore, she said the smart building will be built this year at the Teluk Penyu beach to house the tools of science and technology and the props.
