REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUPANG -- An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit Ngada district, East Nusa Tenggara province, on Monday evening, the local office of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said.
The quake which struck at 03.39 p.m. local time was centered 9.51 degrees southern latitude and 121.04 degrees eastern longitude or 85 km southeast of Ngada at a depth of 54 km, the office said.
There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage.
