"It is very interesting for me to learn more about the Kalosara culture, through which all problems, conflicts, and misunderstandings can be resolved," Thomason remarked after meeting the officials of the Kendari city administration here on Wednesday.

He stated that the unique culture and tradition can help the government create tranquility in the midst of social life.

"This is a valuable learning for me during the few days of my visit to Kendari to explore the local culture," he stated.

Thomason said his visit to Kendari was to gather information in terms of education, health, and culture related to Southeast Sulawesi and Kendari, in particular.

"I want to know how the concept of the Kalosara culture and tradition is applied, so that people can live in peace and harmony," he remarked.

In the meantime, Kendari city administration spokesman Alam Lotunani noted that the Kalosara tradition of the Tolaki community was a guideline that played a vital role in the lives of the people.
