REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - An earthquake magnitude 5,5 on the Richter scale jolted the region of Lampung on Sunday (15/5).

The powerful earthquake happen in early morning at 3:52 am. According website of Indonesia Agency of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) in Jakarta, the earthquake had no potential cause tsunami. The epicenter was located at 6.95 degrees southern latitude - 101.67 east longitude with depth of 10 kilometers in a location 318 kilometers southwest of the West Coast of Lampung.
