REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- Bogor Botanical Garden (KRB) launches visitor’s center, Wednesday (18/5).

"We launch new public service facilities that are Visitors Center with one-stop service," said Head of the Center for Plant Conservation (PKT) KRB Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Didik Widyatmoko, Wednesday (18/5).

He explained, the newest service was created to provide easier access for the public. Comfortabiliy is also provided, he said.

In commemoration of 199th anniversaries, KRB have made some efforts in maximizing the conservation of fauna protection of archipelago.

Besides, the service is also one thing that is continuously improved.

Meanwhile, the Deputy for biodiversity science, Enny Sudarmonowati said, the KRB anniversary as momentum into cooperation.

"We hope there are other collaborations that can improve the research quality and the collection of KRB will continue to be explored and cooperated for broader international level," said Enny.

Enny added, KRB should be consistent to keep the wealth of plants in Indonesia. She also said the KRB can keep rescue and conserve the flora from extinction.

Known, KRB also inaugurate two new conservations areas as part of a birthday celebration. Exactly on this day (18/5) KRB inaugurated two new botanical gardens in cooperation with the Gianyar District and East Belitung.
