REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of The Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI) Tulus Abadi appreciates the sanction from ministry of transportation (Kemenhub) on Lion Air, although he thinks the sanction is too light.
"The sanction is still too light, because the sanction from Kemenhub is only technical and case by case," he said, Friday (20/5).
In his opinion, there must be sanctions given based on accumulative dimension because of proven violation done by Lion Air in recent years.
Tulus added Lion Air had to make the sanction as momentum to improve its performance and improve services to consumers.
"Not to fight the law that would be negative campaign for consumers. The attitude of Lion Air will be the trigger for consumers to boycott the airline," he added.
