Govt supports appeal for Rita case

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Domestic workers (maids) from Ponorogo, East Java, Rita Krisdianti sentenced to death by the Malaysian courts. Rita caught with narcotics weighing 4 kilograms at Penang Airport.

The government has tried various measures to lighten Rita's punishment. One of them is pointed a lawyer since the case is rolling.

 

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) expressed support for the appeal case will be made by the lawyer Rita.
