REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDAR LAMPUNG -- Bandar Lampung Mayor, Herman HN, asked the bussinesmen in Bandar Lampung to pay holiday allowance (THR) to workers two weeks before the Eid.

"The companies must pay the THR to their workers on time, 14 days before Idul Fitri," Herman said on Wednesday (15/6).

He added, giving THR is in accordance with the employment rules. All of companies are obliged to give THR, so the workers/employees can prepare for the holiday.

"Employees and workers also want to prepare the needs before Eid," he said.

He hopes the company not to be late to pay the THR to employees until a week before the holiday. Otherwise, he continued, the employees can make a report to the relevant authorities, for further actions and sanctions.
