REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar said the presence of fake vaccines made by the couple TH and RA can be categorized as one of the assassination attempt on babies and toddlers indirectly.

"The murder of toddlers indirectly," Deddy Mizwar said in Bandung, on Wednesday (29/6).

He hoped the police, Drug and Food Monitoring Agency (BPOM) and Health Department and local administration in districts / cities in order to investigate the case of the fake vaccine. So, the mothers do not feel worry or anxious when they want to give the vaccines to their children.

"How vaccination conducted in certain places that guarantee its authenticity. The original vaccines were from Bio Farma, in West Java. So it could be through the clinic with use vaccines from Bio Farma," Deddy Mizwar said.

He also worried about finding the fake vaccines cause mistrust the communities, especially among mothers against the vaccines.

"If the mothers no longer believe the vaccines, it's hard to vaccinate," he said.

Previously, the findings about the distribution of fake vaccines for tuberculosis, tetanus, and hepatitis are revealed national police officer after arrest 10 suspects as maker and distributor, on Thursday (23/6). Two of the offenders are husband and wife with the initial name TH and RA who are residents of Bekasi, West Java, who live in Kemang Pratama.
