REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CILACAP -- An inmate of narcotics case from Turkey, Saman Hasan Zadeh Leili Bin Kheirollah or Messi (30), has escaped from Nusakambangan Prison, on Thursday (30/6).

"From observation in the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera, he had escaped the monitor of officers in the dock by wearing  a jacket, face mask, and helmet, '' Chief of the Division of Human Rights Office of Ministry of Law and Human rights (Kemenkumham), Central Java, Molyanto, on Friday (1/7).

Currently, Molyanto added, joint officers from various agencies were chasing prisoner to some locations allegedly. Therefore, Nusa Kambangan officers has been working with the Cilacap Police to conduct search.

"We also form internal team, the Regional Office of Kemenkumham involved, handling, monitoring, and providing guidelines for handling," he said.

According to him, this incident known at 04.00 pm. At that time, the officer did not found the convict Messi in his cell. Thus, the officers attempted to search by combing the area because of the possibility the convict could not escaped from Nusa Kambangan. But after checked the CCTV in the post supervision Wijayapura dock Cilacap, finally confirmed that he had managed to escape from Nusa Kambangan.

In addition, officers can also find out how the suspect managed to escape. He stole the Supra X motorcycle Honda belong to Nusa Kambangan officer, Slamet. In fact, he also use jacket, mask, and helmet which are all also belong to Slamet, so it's not been identified by the officer at the dock.

He said the convict Saman Hasan or Mesi, was convicted of illicit drug case that received a prison sentence for 12 years and 3 months and he will be free in 2022. From the officer information, convict Saman Hasan last known in prison at 09:00 am. At that time, he did routine activities such as fill the water in the prison. However, the prisoner was found not in his cell at the afternoon.
