REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Directorate of Narcotics Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) of Metro Jaya Police has destroyed 81 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (shabu-shabu) from the disclosure of the case since May 23 to July 4, 2016.
"Evidence was obtained from the disclosure of the six cases of drug abuse," Chief of Metro Jaya Police Insp. Gen. Moechgiyarto said in Jakarta, Thursday (21/7).
In addition, officers also have destroyed 23.9 kilograms of dried marijuana by burned using a special combustion, while methamphetamine mixed with liquid. Moechgiyarto mention Ditresnarkoba Metro Jaya Police investigators set 14 suspects of narcotics cases since May to July 2016.
Moechgiyarto revealed the perpetrators smuggle drugs to Jakarta through illegal ports along the Thousand Island region.
"Some are also smuggled through official port," Moechgiyarto said.
