REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA -- Surabaya Police cooperate with Surabaya public order agency (satpol PP) have arrested two pimps and a prostitute who still use the ex Dolly Localization that had been closed as a place of prostitution.
"The police confiscated Rp 500,000 from the guests who used the service of prostitutes from two pimps," Head of Surabaya Police's Criminal division Grand Commissioner Adjutant AKBP Shinto Bina Gunawan Silitonga on Tuesday (26/7).
Initially, the suspect Hr (46), a resident of Kupang Gunung, and Gd (38), a resident of Putat Jaya, were being casual laborers for three months. However, they were felt not satisfied with wage from their job and offering sexual services to the men with tariff Rp 350,000 for one date.
"The prostitute was given Rp 150,000 and pay the room as much as Rp 80,000 and the rest to the suspect," he added.
In addition to money, the police also seized two mobile phones belonging to the suspect.
"We must ensure that the former of Dolly Localization no longer used by groups covertly," he said.
Therefore, Surabaya Police in cooperation with Satpol PP are conduct prevention and repression. The two suspects charged under Article 2 of Law No. 21 of 2007 on the Eradication of human trafficking with the threat of criminal penalties of at least three years and maximum of 13 years in prison and a fine of Rp 120 million to Rp 600 million.
