REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- State Secretary Pramono Anung said all relevant ministries agreed to resume Jakarta Bay reclamation. "Actually there is no difference (in their perspective)," Pramono said at the Ministry Secretary of State, on Thursday (15/9).

However, Pramono did not give detail explanation about Indonesian President Joko Widodo's perspective about this case. He only said that the President ordered that the reclamation issue must be completed in accordance with existing rules.

"The President has given directives in two meetings, the point is grand designs must be arranged. The grand designs will be implemented on G Island issue. Of course, it should be completed with existing legislation," he said.

As reported by Antara, Luhut said the G Island developer, PT Muara Wisesa Samudera (a subsidiary of Agung Podomoro Land), has not meet all the requirement to continue their work on reclamation process.

The Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) demanded the developer to fulfilled two crucial points in line with the concept of Indonesian National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD).

Before that aspects are setteled, the administrative sanction given by KLHK can not be lifted.

"They should change the environmental document and strategic environmental assessment for 17 islands. It will finished within two or three weeks ahead," said Luhut after the signing of the charter of the integrity zone free of corruption at the Ministry for maritime Jakarta on Thursday.

Meanwhile, National Director of Walhi, Yaya Nur Hidayat, said Coordinating Minister for the Maritime's decision to resume reclamation was against Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN)'s sentence. On May 31, 2016, the court has ordered cancellation of the Jakarta Governor Decree No. 2238/2014 on Issuance of Permits G Island Reclamation Implementation. "The problem was not only technical issues, but regarding various violations of the law," he said.
