REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Social Affairs Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa said the government will announce recipients of the hero title on November 9th, 2016. "We have to re-coordination with Central Title Research and Assesment Team (TP2GP) first," she said when met at Kalibata Heroes Cemetry, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/2).

However, Khofifah reluctant to say names of candidates for hero title. She explained, final results of hero title receiver depends on Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). "We will wait until there is a decision from the president," said Khofifah.

She said there were 11 names proposed to be selected as recipient of the hero title. The candidates were from Yogyakarta, East Java, South Sulawesi and North Sulawesi.
