Ahok reluctant to comment about his examination

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) was reluctant to comment regarding his examination at the Police Headquarters related alleged religious blasphemy of Quran Al Maidah verse 51. This was the second time the examination. "I think it has all been cleared, If you wanted to know more, asked the investigators. I want to go home, I am hungry," said Ahok after being questioned at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta, Monday (11/7).

Meanwhile, Ahok's lawyer Sirra Prayuna explained the examination of his client for nine hours. Ahok has to answered 22 questions as a witness. Previously, he has explained 18 questions.

Until now, the police have heard testimony from 29 witnesses related to the case. The witnessess include 12 law, language, interpretation and religious experts, and 13 other witnesses presented by the parties that have submitted complaints against Ahok.
