REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The police had not name a suspect in the spreading of pornographic content allegedly committed by Habib Rizieq Shihab and the Chairman of the Cendana Friend Solidarity Foundation (SSC), Firza Hussein. The content had spread widely on social media. Pieces of the pictures seemed to indicate their steamy conversations.

The case has been raised to the level of investigation. Police were still investigating whether the photo uploader was Firza. Meanwhile, the uploader of the pornographic content has not been identified and the police had not been able to catch the perpetrator. 

The Head of the Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, revealed the reason why the police has not caught the spreaders of the steamy conversation. He said the police focused on the violation of Law No. 44 Year 2008 on Pornography. The uploader of pornographic content was charged with ITE Law.

"Now, we focused on pornography act first, and later only on ITE Law," said Argo at Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on Wednesday.

The police was still conducting investigations against the producer of the pornographic content. It would continue by the examining witnesses and experts to uncover the cases.

The police have also checked Firza who was now languishing in the jail of Mako Brimob Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java on cases on the alleged coup plot case. Special Crime Directorate have seized several items as evidence from the house of Firza. "Indeed we used Law on Pornography for the maker. If no one created it, it was impossible there was a picture. But we also looked for the spreader," said Argo.
