REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The General Secretary of Democratic Party Hinca Panjaitan said the effect of the emergence of new political figure, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) had spread to some place in Indonesia. The effect included Agus style and spirit showed during the campaign. 

"There was a fact of AHY effect all over Indonesia. We felt it from his physical style or his spirit, especially after the closing speech," said Hinca in the Central Board of Democratic Party at Wisma Proklamasi, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Thursday. 

AHY effect led many invitations for Agus from Democratic member in other provinces. They hoped that he would come to their event, even if it was only an inauguration ceremony.

"Our cadres all over Indonesia asked AHY to come and get involve in the regions. For example in February 26, our regional board in South Sumatra invited him to an inauguration ceremony. And so the cadres in Balikpapan, Manado, and other regions," said Hinca.

However, the eldest son of the former Indonesian president could not attend all the events. He would consider which regions he was available to come.

"We were still considering in what regions he might come," he added.
