REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Habib Muhammad Rizieq Shihab’s lawyer Kapitra Ampera asserted that the evidence of alleged steamy conversation between his client and Firza Husein was collected illegally.
It was collected by unauthorized parties, so it could not be valid.
“The evidence of Habib Rizieq Shihab’s case is collected illegally,” he said in a press release on Tuesday (June 20).
Kapitra said it was a violation of human rights, related to right of privacy. It was also violate the Indonesian Constitution.
Kapitra called President Joko Widodo to instructed investigators and police to issue a warrant for termination of investigation (SP3) to Habib Rizieq.
“As it violent the law, especially Constitutional Court Decree No. 20/PUU-XIV/2016 on September 7, 2016," said him.
