REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Firza Husein asked the police to reveal the party who spread photos that caused her to be named as suspect in alleged steamy conversation with the Head of Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Muhammad Rizieq Shihab. 

She gave the statement after being examined by Jakarta Metro Police’s investigators on Tuesday (July 4). 

"The point is I hope the police will catch the person who spread photo content immediately," Firza said. 

Meanwhile, her lawyer Azis Yanuar asked the police to be objective. He insisted the accusation to Firza was incorrect. 

According to Azis, Firza would have another examination next week. So far, police had investigated 20 witnesses, including 15 expert witnesses. Firza and Habib Rizieq had been named as the suspects.

Previously on Monday (May 29), Habib Rizieq was alleged to have a steamy conversation with a woman named Firza Husein. Rizieq was subjected with article 4 verse 1 juncto article 29 and or article 6 juncto article 32 of Law No. 44 in 2008 about Pornography. 

He was threatened to get over five years of imprisonment. Firza also subjected with the same articles added by article 8 juncto article 34 of Law No. 44 in 2008 on Pornography. She was also threatened with the same punishment.

Police investigators suspected Habib Rizieq to be in Saudi Arabia since April 26. He ignored police summons for several times.
