REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Two political parties of 2019 election participants have not yet fulfilled the verification requirements at their central management level (DPP). General Election Commissions (KPU) allows the two political parties to complete the terms.
"The two parties are PAN and PBB," KPU Chairman, Arief Budiman said on Sunday (Jan 28) night.
KPU conducted verification by visiting central boards offices of five old political parties on Sunday. They have examined legality of the political party's board of Management and women's representation by 30 percent in the management of political parties. Also, KPK examined status of office domicile of each political party's.
The five political parties visited by KPU were PBB, Nasdem Party, PAN, Democratic Party, and Hanura Party. However, Budiam said PBB actually has filled two points of verification requirements. He explained PBB has fulfill the core board of Management point and the status of domicile point of political party.
"For the women's representation, one member of PBB is not carrying identity when verified as she can not submit her identity card, then we declare PBB has not yet qualified for one point, namely the representation of female board in DPP," Arief said.
Meanwhile, PAN has not fulfill the verification requirement because it did not meet the core management research points and the representation of female in the board members as many as 30 percent. Commissioner of KPU, Wahyu Setiawan said one the core management of the party, the general treasures of PAN could not be found because he is in abroad.
"And the other can't attend because of illness," Wahyu added.
