REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Actor Fachri Albar was arrested by South Jakarta Metro Police for allegedly possessing and using methamphetamine, marijuana, and Dumolid or an anti-depressant. He was arrested at his house in Beverly Hills complex, Cirendeu, South Jakarta on Wednesday (Feb 14) morning.
The police seized a package of methaphetamine, marijuana, a bong, and two strips of Dumolid from his house. "That's right. This morning we arrested Fachri Albar," said South Jakarta Metro Police chief Mardiaz Kusin Dwihananto on Wednesday (Feb 14).
Mardiaz said the police have received information about Fachri from the public three months ago. Mardiaz revealed from the initial examination Fachri was known to consume marijuana starting from 2015 and crystal methamphetamine since last year.
"According to Fachri, he also consume Dumolid to calm down and he's under doctor's supervision in the process of rehabilitation," Mardiaz said.
Fahri claimed to forget the cyrstal meth dealer since it was bought months ago. Meanwhile, his urine test results showed positive on amphetamine and methamphetamine so the police related it to the evidence found in Fachri's room.
Fachri is the son of senior rocker Ahmad Albar and also a husband of model Renata Kusmanto. He has starred in several films, among of those were Kala (The Secret) in 2007 and Pintu Terlarang (Forbidden Door) in 2009.
