REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Metro Police investigators have examined former governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama on the alleged graft case of Jakarta Bay reclamation project. Ahok was questioned at National Police's Mobile Brigade headquarters (Mako Brimob) detention center in Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java.
"We ask about 20 questions in early February," Jakarta Metro Police's Special Criminal Investigation Director Commissioner Adi Deriyan said in Jakarta on Monday.
Adi explained the investigators tried to explore information from Ahok to reveal whether maladministration occured in the project. The investigators have also examined Head of Jakarta Transportation Department Andri Yansyah to clarify the environmental impact analysis (Amdal) of the traffic on the construction of Jakarta Bay reclamation project.
Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial / Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Sofyan Djalil would also be examined to explain the issue of certification of the reclaimed islets, Adi said.
Jakarta Metro Police have increased the legal process status of Jakarta Bay reclamation project case from examination into full investigation. Based on case expose on November 2, 2017, the investigators indicated state budget losses in the reclamation project of C and D islets.
The Jakarta administration has set NJOP of reclamation islets C and D at Rp 3.1 million (US$229.3) per square meter with a realization started from Rp25 million up to Rp 30 million per square meter.
