REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CIANJUR -- Flash floods hit Cianjur city and the sub-districts of Cianjur, Cugenang, Pacet, and Cipanas in Cianjur District, West Java Province, on Sunday. Hundreds of homes has been affected by the flooding.

More than 10 houses were seriously damaged after being swept away by flooding in Cianjur sub-district, according to information from the Cianjur disaster mitigation office.

Landslides also struct Mangunkert village in Cugenang sub-district, and Batulawang village in Cipanas sub-district.

Incessant heavy rains caused Cianjur and Ciharashas Rivers to spill over their banks.
