REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- No Indonesians become victims in the recent attack in Muenster, Germany. The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday confirmed the information.
"So far there are no Indonesians among the victims of the #MuensterAttack," the ministry tweeted on Sunday.
It was reported that at least two people were killed and 20 injured after a van ploughed into a diners sitting outside a cafe outside the Grosser Kiepenkerl eatery, a popular destination for tourists in the western Germany university city of Muenster at 15:27 local time on Saturday.
The driver of the van, then shot himself dead, local police reported to Reuters.
The Indonesian Consulate General in Frankfurt is monitoring the development of the recent incident in Muenster and opens a hotline at +49 1624129044.
