REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Jakarta Police have seized 142 kilograms of marijuana in North Binjai of North Sumatra. The drug was to be transported from Aceh to the capital city Jakarta in a modified truck.
"The suspect carried the marijuana in a modified truck," a spokesman of the Jakarta Police Senior Commissioner, Argo Yuwono, stated here on Tuesday.
Yuwono noted that the police's Directorate of Narcotics has arrested the truck driver, identified by its initial as HT alias HR. He hid the marijuana under the truck box.

HT admitted that he got the order to transport the drug from ZL, a detainee in a drug case in Lampung.
The marijuana was to be sent to four other suspects, namely NSN alias PC, JV alias YF, FS alias MBI, and DN alias OT, who were expected to wait for the truck in Karawang, West Java.
He revealed that police arrested the four suspects in Karawang on April 19. The four suspects received the order from NC, an inmate in Cipinang prison in East Jakarta.
The arrest was made following the seizure of 225 kilograms of marijuana in Merak-Jakarta toll road on Aug 28, 2017.
