REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The progress of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) construction in the capital city of Jakarta has reached 94.19 percent, PT Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta said. Meanwhile, the phase 1 construction of MRT (Lebak Bulus-Ragunan) has completed 94.19 percent.
President Director of MRT Jakarta William Sabandar said that the construction of underground line section has reached 96.59 percent and elevated line section has reached 91.82 percent.
"We have planned to conduct MRT trial run in August 2018. The construction is still in progress and we are monitoring this," he said here on Tuesday.

The company would also conduct trial run for the railway rolling stock signalling and main power supply in June.
"The construction of power line for MRT has been completed, and we will conduct trial run for rolling stock signalling," William said, adding that the first set of rolling stock would be checked in August and the second set in November.
"After the trial run, it will be continued with certification process by the Transportation Ministry's Directorate General for Railways planned to be held in December 2018, and it would be completed as soon as possible," William said.
