REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said six inner city toll road projects have been taken over by the central government. According to him, the takeover was done two months after Jakarta regional Election in 2017 was held.
“We asserted will not continue the six inner-city toll road projects, so the projects is taken over by central government,” said Anies on Friday (June 13).
The six inner city toll road projects are Semanan-Sunter Toll Road with a total length 20.23 kilometers, Sunter-Pulo Gebang Toll Road 9,44 kilometers, and Duri-Pulo Gebang-Kampung Melayu Toll Road 12.65 kilometers. Then, Kemayoran-Kampung Melayu Toll Road 9.6 kilometers, Ulujami-Tanah Abang Toll Road is 8.7 kilometers and the Pasar Minggu-Casablanca Toll Road is 9.16 kilometers.
“Takeover is done through Presidential regulation (Perpres) No, 58/2017 dated June 15, 2017. The six toll roads become a national strategic project that is no longer under Jakarta Provincial Government,” Anies explained.
According to Anies, many people already knew that the six inner city toll road projects have been handed over to central government. He also stressed that the decision was decided by central government.
